Our Commitment
Passport Partners is committed to making our Site accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe travel content should be inclusive, and that starts with a website that works for all our readers — regardless of how they browse the web.
Standards We Aim For
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), are the international benchmark for web accessibility and cover areas like:
- Providing text alternatives for images
- Making content navigable by keyboard
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast
- Structuring content with proper headings and landmarks
- Ensuring the Site works with screen readers and other assistive technologies
What We Do
- Write descriptive alt text for the images we publish
- Structure our posts with proper heading hierarchy
- Choose color combinations that meet contrast requirements
- Test new templates and features for keyboard navigation
- Review accessibility periodically as we add features and content
Known Limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a destination. Some areas where we’re still working to improve:
- Older posts may have images with incomplete alt text. We’re updating these over time.
- Third-party embeds (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, maps) may not fully meet WCAG standards and we rely on those platforms’ own accessibility practices for embedded content.
- Some PDF downloads and older content may not meet current accessibility standards.
Tell Us When Something Isn’t Working
If you run into an accessibility problem on our Site, we want to hear about it both so we can help you find the content you need and so we can fix the issue for everyone. Please include:
- The URL or page where the problem occurred
- A description of the issue
- The assistive technology, browser, or device you’re using (if relevant)
- Your preferred way to be contacted
Email us at contact@passportpartnerstravel.com and we’ll respond within five business days.
Third-Party Content
This statement applies to content Passport Partners creates and controls. It does not extend to third-party websites we link to, which have their own accessibility practices.
